Proudly serving and protecting our city, officers of the Oakwood Police Department uphold the law, respecting and honoring the rights of our citizens while performing their services with honesty, courage and sound judgment.  Quick response time, around-the-clock patrols, traffic control, and gang watch, drug awareness and safety programs all contribute to the low crime rate we enjoy in Oakwood.

Our city police are always visible, available and ready to help in any way they can.  You will frequently see city officers involved in all kinds of community activities, from mentoring students, to organizing neighborhood watches and conducting safety programs in schools.
