If you are looking for a place for a meeting or gathering of family, friends or associates, we have two buildings available for rental.
Building #1 accommodates 55 people, and has a complete kitchen with island and restroom.
Building #2 accommodates 25 people, and has partial kitchen with no stove and restroom.
Both buildings have tables and chairs.

Rules & Regulations
Once again, the City of Oakwood and the Georgia Mountains YMCA will work together to offer a variety of swim programs this summer.
Activities at the Oakwood Pool will consist of unique programs for children and adults, including family fun nights, lessons and water aerobics classes. The pool is located on Railroad Street next to the Oakwood Police Department.
ADMISSION IS $2 PER SESSION.
Summer Programs 2010 Oakwood Pool
Summer Luau:
Saturday, May 29th open season with Luau. Time 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. YMCA will bring Bounce House. Games will include Beach Volleyball. Food will be a hotdog cookout.
Open Monday-Saturday 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
Sunday 1:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
Swim Lessons:
Monday-Thursday 6:00-6:30
6:45-7:15
7:30-8:00
Summer swimming lessons will include 5 Sessions, each running Monday-Thursday and lasting two weeks. All Instructors will be Red Cross Certified. One guard will be on duty in addition to all instructors during swimming lessons.

Session 3 June 21-July 1
Session 4 July 5-July 15

Swim Evaluations:
Swimming Evaluations for each swim session will take place the Friday prior to the beginning of the session from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. as follows:
June 4, June 18, July 2, July 16
Evaluations can also be done the first night of class.
Water Aerobics:
Water Aerobics will be scheduled in the morning prior to first open swim on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Additional classes may be added on Tuesdays and Thursdays if needed. Class will run from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. One guard will be on duty during Water Aerobics. Classes will run from June 5 through July 29th. Cost for this class will be $2.00.
Family Fun Nights:
Movie in the Park: Pool will be open from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on the Fridays when Movie in the Park is scheduled. There will be a fee of $2.00 which will cover the extra swim time as well as the movie. At 8:00 the pool will close and movie will be set up to be viewed from the park on the pool fence. Movie will begin as soon as it is dark enough to see the movie. Snack Bar will be open for this event.
Block Party:
Saturday, July 3rd Time 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm. YMCA will bring Bounce House. Games will include Beach Volleyball. Food will be a hotdog cookout. Then movie at dark "Finding Nemo".
Pool Rental
Pool available for rent Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 6:00 p.m. too 8:00 p.m. unless there is a Movie in the Park scheduled. Pool rental will be $35 per hour + $10 per guard needed. (1 Guard needed for every 25 people who will be inside the pool gates.)
