Stormwater Management

Responding to Georgia Environmental Protection Division’s (EPD) 2003 mandate to protect water quality in the state’s waterways, the City of Oakwood developed a comprehensive stormwater management program. This program complies with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Stormwater Phase II Permit regulations of the federal Environmental .Protection Agency.

The City of Oakwood’s Stormwater Management Program protects the health and safety of both the public and the environment. It addresses stormwater quality as well as quantity concerns and meets all federal and state mandates.
